This Trifold Brochure Design project aimed to create an informational brochure using information graphics to convey data. The topic chosen was New Year’s Resolutions and goal-making, inspired by the start of the New Year.

I began by researching the necessary information and visual styles for trifold brochures and information graphics. After gathering my research, I created 30 thumbnail sketches for both sides of the brochure, including graphics and layout ideas. I selected the best thumbnails and refined them in Adobe Illustrator, choosing a playful yet attention-grabbing color palette of dark blue and light pink, and fonts including a slab serif for titles, a sans serif for emphasis, and Avenir for body text.

Following multiple revisions and peer feedback, I achieved a cohesive design. The graphics and layout work well together, and the unique color palette sets the brochure apart. If I were to repeat this project, I would choose a topic to persuade rather than just inform.
